GlobalHack
Launched in 2013 by three St. Louis entrepreneurs (Gabe Lozano, CEO, LockerDome; Drew Winship, CEO, Juristat; Travis Sheridan, Executive Director, Venture Cafe), GlobalHack seeks to built a better tech ecosystem in St. Louis and throughout the Midwest by driving social impact through technology. They organize events that kickstart community-focused software projects and deliver accessible computer science education opportunities for kids.
In October 2018, City Block served as GlobalHack’s marketing and live event coverage arm during their biggest annual event, GlobalHack7: a hackathon for coders and creatives of all ages.
