Lindsay Van Quaethem, CEO & Founder
Lindsay A. Van Quaethem is the CEO & Founder of City Block. Lindsay has 7 years of experience in communications, branding and event management, as the former Marketing Manager for Downtown STL, Inc. Lindsay is a professionally trained improv performer and currently resides on a main stage show at The Improv Shop, in The Grove.
Lindsay graduated from Missouri State University in 2011, with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations, and is on track to complete her MBA from Webster University in May of 2020. Lindsay recently completed Focus St. Louis’ Women in Leadership Program and DAP’s Anti-Bias/Anti-Racism training, holds a seat on the Board of Directors for Compass Improv, Christmas in St. Louis and is the President-Elect for the Public Relations Society of America St. Louis Chapter.
Nicole Huguley, vice president
In July 2018, Nicole Huguley joined the firm as a content creator and strategist. She leverages her communications background to support City Block's community of clients.
Nicole started her professional career as a copywriter at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. After graduating in 2015 from Rhodes College with a degree in English (Creative Writing), Nicole moved to St. Louis and spent 3 years in a Marketing Director role, guiding company-wide digital communications initiatives and outbound marketing campaigns. Nicole is passionate about entrepreneurship and social media. She views social as both an outlet for community engagement as well as a tool for anyone to share their own stories, and live out their dreams.
